Abigail Ellis known to many as Abby is the founder of Step’s Foundation, Inc, where she is pledging to make a difference! She is a native of a small town called Moore Haven, Florida. While that town may have had limitations, her dream and desire to help others begin by watching her grandmother give effortlessly to others and her mother’s fight to find resources for her brother. She moved to Orlando on a mission and pursued those dreams, she started out in Early Childhood Education working from teacher to center director. Andra McCarty, originally from Baltimore Maryland is a mother of 3 and has always had a passion for children. Her willingness to lend a helping hand or give a part of herself to help a child in need has never changed. She was about to lose her life, but again God said “No!” I needed my mother for she would be the one God used to introduce me to Him. Yolanda loves to serve people and help in any way possible. The vision for her small business is to give back to the lower income communities by teaching young ladies a new skill/trade through baking and creating tasty treats. I was raised in a home where God was the center focus. We attended church service at least 3 times a week when there wasn’t a revival being run. We woke up every morning to prayers of my mother and soft gospel music playing in the background. My mother did the best she could to teach us to love God and to live holy before Him and I appreciate her for that. She taught me to be strong and to persevere through trials and tribulations. She has been married AL-Gabriel Andrews Sr. for eleven years. Together, they have four wonderful children. As I became an adult, I strayed away and went through a lot of hurt, pain, and suffering. From bad relationships, financial struggles, and 5 miscarriages. I just kept telling myself if I could just make it back to God. I didn’t realize that God had never left me, I just need to decide to submit to Him. His plan is perfect!
